Ok, so I figured since one event in my life happened I need to announce this. Yes, I am a Phan. What’s a Phan you ask? Well I’ll tell you. I am a Phantom of the Opera fan, get it? Phan. Any way, I wanted to share with you this picture.

Yup, Nick got me another rose, only this time it had a black ribbon tied around it. Like in Phantom of the Opera.
BONUS: That Youtube video is the only deleted scene from Phantom of the Opera.
Anyway. So I learned today that Phantom of the Opera has a sequel. When I learned the plot I almost had a heat attack. Here is the plot line:
The plot takes place on Coney Island in 1907. According to the official announcement, the events occur approximately a decade after the events ofThe Phantom of the Opera. In reality, however, Lloyd Webber’s original show was set in 1881, meaning that the time period between the two stories amounts to 26 years. The Phantom has travelled to Coney Island with Madame Giry and her daughter Meg. Beginning his new life in America as a freakshow attraction, he has worked his way up to a position of power and is now the successful architect of a number of Coney Island attractions. Despite his newfound wealth and success he still longs for Christine and manages to arrange for her to come and sing at one of his latest attractions. Christine arrives at Coney Island along with Raoul and their son Gustave, unknowingly returning to the man she feared most.

I wanted to strangle someone, but I won’t rant here, apparently I should have better things to be angry about (according to my mom). So I won’t. I’ll leave you with another picture of my rose.

So today Nick (the boyfriend) took me to Borders. Even though he hates books and reading. When I walked into the store I was immediately met with this:

Which made me want to barf. Reason #1 to hate Borders? They support sparkly fairies that pretend to be vampires. Seriously. I liked Twilight when I was twelve. What is everyone else’s excuse? I would much rather choke on a better piece of literature than Twilight. Like the books that I got today. Though I did regain new hope in humanity when I found this website.

It’s the new everything. Please check it out. It’s magical. Then Nick and I spent about an hour in the bookstore while I attempted to find anything that looked good to read. I headed back to the teen section hoping that I could maybe find some sort of easy read. I had no luck instead I was met with this.
Borders is a book store, not a clothing store. Jesus. Pisses me off. Reason #2 to hate Borders? They sell clothing. Then I went into the classics section in an attempt to find the full version of Stanley Lombardo’s Aeneid. I looked everywhere for ten minutes. I would have asked for help but the people that work there are some really big dunder heads. I eventually found one book that I really wanted to get, two books in a series that I’ve been reading and two books that sound interesting. Here they are.
Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters. It’s a spin on the Jane Austen original only with sea monstery action! Ok, that was embarrassing. I’m never going to do that again. Anyway. It looks like it’s basically the same story only with sea monsters. Lots and lots of sea monsters.
Vampire Zero is the third book in the series that started with 13 Bullets and continued with 99 Coffins. I won’t say much about this one except it’s about vampires (well duh) only they aren’t the pretty vampires of Twilight. Thank god. If they were I might have to hit my head against a brick wall. They’re more like sharks actually. Cause instead of two delicate little fangs they have rows upon rows of sharp pointy teeth.
23 Hours is the fourth book in the above mentioned series. Not much to expand on so I’m moving on.
The Poe Shadow. This book is all about . . . Edgar Allen Poe and it seems to be interesting though I haven’t read it yet so I’ll have to expand on it more when I do read it.
Necrophenia is still a mystery. I started reading it last night and I’m still not sure as to what it’s about. Hopefully I’ll find out soon. Anyway. It seems interesting. Earlier in the book they made this joke that Elvis was some pure Evil creature. Along with Hitler.
Anyway. There’s the books that I bought and a little rant about Twilight. Yay!!

So I’ve been on winter break for a while and let me tell you it was SO much fun. I love being away from school for like two weeks. I got a new camera so I can start doing photography with a much better camera then what I had before. Yay for technology! I’ve begun writing my novel again and I might pick up drawing again. Been studying for AP Euro (since you’re in that class 24/7) and I even saw my teacher at Target yesterday though I didn’t embarrass him (cause I think he was with his wife). I was sick for a day on the 30th. So my boyfriend came over and it was really sweet. He brought me ginger ale, chicken noodle soup and these:

He’s so sweet. Anyway. I also made him a hat for Christmas. It’s a pretty simple knitting pattern and it has cables! Yay! (cables are twists in knitting where one piece of knitting crosses in front or behind another piece).

The cable is the big twisty part. Bonus pic: me in the boyfriend’s hat. Now I just need to get a picture of him in the hat.

Ok, so I’ve been gone forever. I’ve had things to do, like AP Euro to study for and a boyfriend to hang out with. Plus marching band didn’t leave me with much time either. So from now on I’m no longer doing any 365 posts since they require so much time. I will be posting twice a week however. Just to keep up with blogging. So there’s my new years resolution. Plus a video! So you get posts and video! Yay!
